Hidalgo Co. Precinct 3 announces road closure
EDINBURG — As part of traffic control for waterline adjustments made by AGUA SUD’s contractor, RDH Site & Concrete, LLC, Hidalgo County Precinct 3 announces the closure of Mile 3 and Liberty Road beginning Wednesday.
The contractor plans to close the road and detour traffic to facilitate the open-cuts for the installation of the 16”steel casing for the new waterline.
The project is scheduled to begin on Wednesday and will continue through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Wednesday: Liberty Blvd South Intersection with 3 mile line, and 3 Mile Line east Intersection with Liberty Blvd will be affected.
Thursday: Traffic coming from the North will be detoured onto 3 Mile line onto Cedar St. back to Liberty Blvd.; traffic coming from the South will be detoured onto Cedar St. onto 3 mile line back to Liberty Blvd; traffic coming from the east will be detoured onto Cedar St. onto Liberty Blvd back to 3 Mile line; Traffic coming from the west will be detoured onto Liberty Blvd onto Cedar St. back to 3 Mile Line Rd.
Friday: If for any reason there is a delay with the above mentioned work, RDH will continue working to complete the connections.
