EDINBURG — Hidalgo County Tax Offices have made operational changes.The Tax Office Alamo Substation will be closed the week of Jan. 17.“Our Alamo substation will be closed January 17th through the 21st but our San Juan location is once again operational,” said Hidalgo County Tax Assessor and Collector Pablo (Paul) Villarreal Jr. “Taxpayers may visit the San Juan substation as well as any other office throughout the county. We thank our taxpayers for their patience as we continue to see long lines during our peak season.”Residents are encouraged to use the alternative payments methods that are available to the public.
