PHARR — Hidalgo Precinct 2 Commissioner Eduardo “Eddie” Cantu will join City of Pharr Police Department to commemorate fallen Sgt. Jorge Luis Garcia with a plaque dedication ceremony today at 11 a.m. on 300 W. Hall Acres Road in Pharr.Sgt. Garcia’s end of watch was Aug. 9, 2013 and he served with the Pharr Police Department for 27 years.“Sgt.
