EDINBURG — During routine testing, Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez tested positive for COVID-19 last Tuesday.He conferred with his doctors to determine the prescribed course of treatment. He has had two rounds of the COVID vaccine, as well as a booster shot.This is the second time Judge Cortez has tested positive for the virus.
