PHARR — The City of Pharr Police Department reports that arrests have been made in a stolen credit card operation.On Feb. 12, at approximately 2:19 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Stripes convenience store by Military Rd. and Jackson Rd. for a suspicious subject and vehicle by the gas pumps swiping credit cards. Officers were able to locate the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, making contact with two subjects.During the stop, the subjects were found in possession of 81 credit cards and were taken into custody.The subjects were identified as Jorge Ramirez, 32, from Port Arthur, Texas, and Carla ...
