EDINBURG — Recognizing the need to educate students on the importance of weather preparedness, Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez has arranged for a visit from none other than “Meteorologist Maggie” who will attend several elementary schools to help children gain the knowledge and understanding of how weather and disaster planning can help save lives.There will be two public performances as well.
