Edinburg Council appoints interim city secretary

On March 15, during a regularly scheduled City Council Meeting, the Edinburg Mayor and Council appointed Deputy Registrar Elizabeth Rodriguez as Interim City Secretary. This announcement follows the previous March 1 City Council Meeting where City Secretary Myra L. Ayala was named Interim City Manager.Rodriguez was first hired by the City of Edinburg in February of 2009 and has served as a Clerk Typist, Senior Secretary/Administrative Specialist, and Deputy Registrar for the City Secretary's Office.
