Daniel P. King, Ph.D., former superintendent extraordinaire, will soon be back at work after retiring in September 2019 as PSJA ISD’s long-tenured superintendent.In a profession that has an average span of four years with any one district (at least in Texas), King lasted eight years at Hidalgo ISD and 12 years at PSJA.The question as to which district is the most political, well, toss a coin, but no matter, King lasted a relatively long period of time at both. In fact, the only reason he left Hidalgo in 2007 was to take the job at PSJA ISD.Approximately two-and-a-half years post-retirement,
