EDINBURG — After two weeks of mold remediation, PVAS has been given the 'all clear' to move back into our Trenton Center on June 9.Prompted by the discovery of black mold in one of the buildings, which was constructed in 1974, the shelter reached out to the community to provide temporary foster placement for the almost 200 pets that were currently being housed in that part of our shelter.Not only did the community respond, they flooded the organization with support, taking 256 pets into foster care in the five days prior to the closure, a record number of placements in ...
