ALAMO — Hidalgo County Health and Human Services Department, in partnership with Hidalgo County Precinct 2, will hold a Back-to-School Health Fair at the South Alamo Community Resource Center located at 1429 South Tower Road in Alamo on Saturday, July 16 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.The health fair is free and open to all county residents.“The first 300 attendees will receive free backpacks and school supplies,” said Hidalgo County Precinct 2 Commissioner Eduardo “Eddie” Cantu.Up to 20 health related booths will be on-site conducting health screenings and handing out information on health-based programs offered in the different precincts.Back-to-school vaccinations ...
