McALLEN — McAllen police officers on Saturday, July 16 at approximately 1:37 p.m. responded to the area of the 2200 block of Datepalm Ave. in McAllen in regards to an assault.Reporting Persons (RPs) called the McAllen Police Department and reported a male subject was bleeding in the rear of location and was on the ground.McAllen police officers located the victim and confirmed he had been stabbed. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he died.
