One of Hidalgo County’s most prominent criminal defense attorneys, O. Rene Flores, ran into legal problems of his own last Thursday (Aug. 18) while driving east on U.S. 83 through Penitas. According to a criminal complaint filed against him, Flores was weaving between lanes multiple times, which facilitated the traffic stop.The seasoned attorney didn’t need a good lawyer to tell him to refuse a breathalyzer test, which he did.
