McALLEN — Individuals who are interested in supporting the Mujeres Unidas mission and who can commit to volunteering at least two weeknights or one weekend per month will be trained in providing crisis intervention, safety planning, arranging for emergency shelter and accompaniment to the hospital if needed.The 40-hour volunteer advocate training will begin on October 11th at the Family Justice Center, 511 N.
