Cayetano Magallan Jr., 91, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Oralia Magallan; brother, Tomas Magallan; and a sister, Vita Martinez.

Mr. Magallan is survived by his wife, Maria Magallan; five children,AdanMagallan,Daniel Magallan, Consuelo Magallan, Ruben Magallan, Ofelia Magallan; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Francisco (Hortencia) Magallan.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. with 6 p.m. rosary Thursday, October 6, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 2 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2022, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment followed at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
