— The United Way Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program is now offering free tax preparation assistance services at two locations at Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD (PSJA ISD) for families earning less than $60,000 a year. This assistance will continue until April 2023.Sponsored by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the VITA program offers free assistance to people with a household income of $60,000 or less, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and limited English-speaking taxpayers.
