Special to the Advance EDINBURG — The Edinburg CISD Board of Trustees approved their 20232024 Compensation Plan based on years of experience for Teachers, Nurses and Librarians Tuesday evening.Starting salary for Teachers, Nurses and Librarians will be $57,250. The starting pay for Bus Drivers will increase to $19 an hour. That makes Edinburg CISD teachers the Highest paid in South Texas.
