The Vanguard Beethoven Orchestra Double Bass Ensemble was selected as one of only two ensembles from across Texas to perform at the 2023 “Texas Orchestra Directors Association” Summer Convention in San Antonio on July 21. The selection process consisted of an application and video submission of the ensemble that were evaluated by a judging panel. This is the first year that TODA has invited student groups to perform.
