Covid still out there, so beware

So discouraging.

Received this email last week from an Advance reader, which came as a shocker: “Well, Gregg, Covid is now rampant at (local upscale nursing home).

“My husband and I are OK, but the little old lady across the hall from him has tested positive (for Covid), had her roommate moved out, and the entire “Memory Unit”— the locked unit” has been hit hard, and most of those people don’t even know what that means.

“Their poor families, however, do know and are having to stay away.

“Masks are required for staff, and I’m masking again.

“Dang it. “I, like so many others, thought we were over this.”
