Manufactured Evidence

When FBI agents raided Mar-a-Lago, they (allegedly) disabled cameras to prevent the Trump team from being able to witness the gathering and treatment of evidence. Shortly after that raid, we learned why. In short, the FBI (allegedly) decided to take pictures of phony evidence and put it on public display. The FBI’s display showed various classified documents that they had confiscated from Trump along with various folders clearly marked “Top Secret.” The only problem is that those folders were (allegedly) brought to Mar-a-Lago by the feds and were never part of the stash of seized documents. The FBI (allegedly) adulterated the evidence in an effort to influence the public. There never were any “Top Secret” folders, and we can never know if the FBI even put seized “Top Secret” documents into those folders that it showed the public.
We are thus left with the impression (which the FBI intended) that Donald J. Trump willfully picked up obvious top secret stuff and walked out of the White House with it. What the FBI did was to illegally falsify evidence.
That’s not the only recently revealed (alleged) fake evidence that has come to light recently. Last week in the case trying Trump for incorrectly labeling a hush money payment as the payment of legal fees, Stormy Daniels took the stand and went into excruciating detail about what Trump supposedly did to her during their alleged affair. That testimony had virtually nothing to do with the question of why (subsequent to the 2016 election) Trump had characterized the repayment of hush money paid out by his lawyer as a legal expense. It was therefore totally unjustified for the court to allow that line of testimony. It amounted to an attempt by the prosecution (and acquiescence by the judge) to prejudice the jury against the defendant.
This (alleged) abuse of justice provides grounds for successful appeal. The prosecution, however, doesn’t care if it is reversed on appeal since any such reversal would take place after the election. The goal of those behind the prosecution is to destroy Trump’s current campaign and insure that he loses that election.
Clearly, up to this point, those who oppose Trump have not been successful in tarnishing his reputation. Last Saturday in Wildwood, New Jersey, the Donald held a seaside rally. The best estimate is that more than 100,000 people attended. It was the largest political rally ever held by anyone in the state of New Jersey. The extremely broad line extended for well over a mile. The resulting crowd was so large that its end was not visible.
Addressing the crowd, Donald J. Trump spoke for well over an hour and was cheered from beginning to end. He spoke on a wide range of issues and supported a host of Republican office holders and candidates. The one thing he was unable to talk about at any length was his hush money trial. The judge, you see, has imposed a gag order on him and threatened him with prison if he speaks about the judge, jury, content, or witnesses in that trial. Stormy Daniels admits she hates Trump and has spent days on the stand bad mouthing him. Former lawyer Michael Cohen is likewise being called to the stand to speak against Trump. Donald J. Trump, however, is forbidden by law from defending his reputation against them. The Donald is appealing the judge’s gag order on the grounds that it is unconstitutional. That appeal, however, won’t be heard until it’s too late for it to do any good.
So there you have it. Law enforcement has been (allegedly) manufacturing evidence against him. A judge has ordered him not to defend himself. Yet he’s more popular than ever and is winning in the polls.
