Rio Grande Valley Diabetes Association prepares for gala

The Rio Grande Valley Diabetes Association is gearing up for the 17th annual Gala “Dancing with the Stars of Hidalgo County.”

The event will be held Nov. 2, 2024, at the Mission Events Center.

The Gala Committee is seeking sponsorships and auction items. If you would like to sponsor or donate an item for auction, contact the RGVDA office.

Performing this year are local celebrities Mario Lizcano, Rick Salinas, Rudy Zamorano, Amanda Esquivel, Judge Sergio Valdez, Joe Luis Sanchez, Annail Vela, Dr. Dustin Luebbers, Slyvia Cantu, Samantha Ramirez, Anabel Espinosa, Annabelle Palomo and Omar Longoria.

The RGVDA is a local and independent notfor- profit diabetes association for Hidalgo County. This event allows programs and services to be tailored specifically for the area and guarantees that all funds generated are used for the residents of Hidalgo County.
