City of McAllen proposes property tax rate decrease for taxpayers

McAllen City Manager Roel “Roy” Rodriguez, P.E. once again recommended to Mayor Javier Villalobos and the McAllen City Commissioners a significant decrease in the property tax rate for McAllen taxpayers, as part of the proposed $652 million municipal budget for fiscal year 2024-2025.
