The 'Nazi' claim is insulting
Personally I know a lot of Republicans, independents, and Democrats who voted for Donald Trump this election. Of those, I don’t know of one who is a Nazi or who espouses fascist ideals.
Yet, if I turn on MSNBC right now, CNN, or any of the major networks, I will hear that charge tossed around like it’s a given.
Either that, or the people who voted for the GOP ticket this election are just too damn dumb to realize what they’ve done.
The Blacks who voted for Trump are a bunch of misogynists who will never vote for a female presidential candidate, we are told.
The Hispanics who voted for Trump/Vance and helped turn the U.S. Senate Republican and most likely the House are labeled by those on the far Left (Joe Scarborough, Jimmy Kimmel, pick almost any celeb, etc.) as being racist because Kamala Harris dad was Black.
The election, in the Left’s opinion, had nothing whatsoever to do with the fact that groceries, on average, now cost 20 percent more than they did in 2020. Interest rates are higher, the cost of insurance is higher, the cost of almost everything is higher than they were in 2020.
That’s not why Trump won, though, the public is being told, not only by political commentators, but those who are in charge of writing objective news stories.
For example, when the mainstream media, including the Associated Press, writes, all the time, that Trump is against “immigration,” they never qualify it by putting either “illegal” or “undocumented” in front of “immigration.
Big difference.
As of this writing, the GOP needs only four more seats to gain a House majority.
Approximately 19 of the 435 seats in the House are still undecided, and of those, more than a dozen are still considered competitive, the majority of which are already leaning Republican.
Despite two failed assassination attempts, two attempts to impeach him during his previous term, Trump won 312 electoral votes to Harris’s 226.
In the popular vote category, Trump won approximately 74.6 million to Harris’s 71.1 million. Put another way, 50.3 percent of the popular vote to 48 percent for Harris/Walz.
Counting the 50 states, Trump won 31 to 19.
Nazis, Nazis, Nazis
That’s a lot of Nazis, but that story line is wrong on almost every level.
For starters, the way this country is set up, with 50 sovereign states, a fascist regime in this country, unlike Germany in the 1930s, is an impossibility for any would-be dictator.
Hitler had his own private military by the time he assumed complete power.
Trump will never have that, nor will he ever have the U.S. military at his beckoned call.
Whoever believes that is incapable, or unwilling, to think in any logical fashion.
Remember the days of Johnny Carson. We never knew how he voted. He just went on stage every night to interview people and entertain his audience.
Today, those still willing to engage in a form of masochism and actually watch late night so-called talk-shows, supposedly steeped in comedy, like Kimmel and Colbert, are told that anyone who voted for Trump/Harris is just too stupid to yet realize what they’ve done.
These are guys with so much money they have no connection to the working-class who are now paying approximately 20 percent more for groceries than they did four years ago.
They live in million-dollar homes and never sweat paying their next electric bill.
If anything, this election has shown that the electorate majority couldn’t care less what a celebrity thinks. Typically, these days, they have more money than talent, and they have no link to the common people.
Rapper Cardi B, for example, who admitted on an old Instagram video that when she was working as a stripper, she would drug and rob men, is a Dem favorite now that she’s a famous rapper. The list goes on and on.
The fact that Kamala Harris is a woman and half Black had nothing to do with her loss.
During these inflationary times, the fact that the vice president went on “The View” and could come up with nothing new when she was asked what she would have done differently from Joe Biden during these past four years if she had been president pretty much sealed her fate.
Yet, she lost because this country is brimming with Nazis.
Seriously?
She could have gone on the Joe Rogan podcast, like Trump did, and speak to the electorate for 3 hours, like Trump did, explain her plan to fix what ails us.
Instead, she chose to go on Saturday Night Live, which hasn’t been funny for at least the last 30 years, where she did nothing to explain her plans to fix what ails us.
The fact that Trump carried all four counties that comprise the RGV, after only drawing 29 percent from this region eight years ago, says one thing and one thing only – the Biden/ Harris administration turned out to be an abysmal failure these last four years.
That’s why Trump won.
