A Speechcraft public speaking course will be offered on four consecutive Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon beginning Feb. 1 at the Pharr Memorial Library (121 E Cherokee Ave., 2nd Floor). The Speechcraft is sponsored by Hub City and Allen McAllen Toastmasters Clubs.In these four 2-hour sessions, participants will learn and practice public speaking techniques, introducing a speaker, presenting a prepared speech, responding to an impromptu topic, and receiving and giving feedback.
