McAllen PD seeks to identify bank fraud suspects

McALLEN — Three females are suspected of passing forged checks at local Valley banks, the McAllen Police Department said. 

Reports were received and taken by officers Thursday from the various locations. The department said that each female suspect had entered a bank and passed a fraudulent check. 

McAllen PD is seeking assistance from the public — both residents and businesses — in immediately identifying the three female suspects. The trio may have been working together and it's possible they attempted this activity in other cities, according to McAllen PD.
