May might be your lucky month to find, adopt a furry family member
If you’re getting tired of month after month passing without anything new or really exciting in your life, why not think about getting a dog?
There’s nothing like a dog to give you a reason NOT to hit the snooze button on your alarm clock, but bound out of bed with a smile on your face, eat a good breakfast and get some exercise by going for an early morning walk with a canine companion. A happy dog’s enthusiasm for just about everything, can give you a new lease on life in record time.
Cinderella Pet Rescue has a lot of great dogs to choose from but this week we’re featuring June and Pupsicle, medium-sized dogs who would fit into any family, as long as there’s plenty of love and attention available.
June is new to the shelter. She’s a 3-and-a-half-year-old Foxhound/Lab cross who weighs 58 pounds.
She’s brown, beige and white with a face that’s split down the middle, with white on one side and beige on the other. She’s got gold eyes and a big contagious smile. She’s a happy girl and everyone around her knows it. June is a super-intelligent and sweet dog whose every day is her best day ever. She has impressed our volunteers with her enthusiasm for all things related to playing. She loves toys, fetching, tug of war, wrestling, and swimming but she’s also quite accomplished at napping in the sun or snuggling in under the covers at night with a favorite human.
She loves interacting with people and learns new commands easily. She also makes her needs known and is eager to please.
Pupsicle has been at the shelter longer and is ever- so-ready for his forever home. He is a German Shepherd cross, with a handsome face and floppy ears. He will be three in August and he weighs about 45 pounds. Like June, he’s an extremely sweet dog who loves to cuddle and even seems to think that he’s a perfect lap dog. He gets along with other dogs and loves being with humans.
Either June or Pupsicle might be exactly what you need to make May your lucky month indeed!
