The Auditions
On May 20 and 21, the PCT will host open auditions for their dramatic comedy — “Singular Strike/Una Huelga Singular” by José Manuel Álvarez.
It will be a two-act play and it is entirely in Spanish — so actors must be fluent in the language in order to be cast.
The theater is looking for:
• Four women and three men between the ages of 30 and 70
• Two teens — one boy and girl — between the ages of 13 and 17
The auditions will also be at the theater, and they are set to be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
According to a release by the theater, the play revolves around a mother and wife who wish to end “domestic” and “verbal” abuse in her home. As a result, she decides to stage a strike.
