Cinderella Pet Rescue believes that we have just the right dog for you, whether you’re looking for a high-energy big dog, or a laid back little homebody whose favorite activities include watching TV and staying close to her person or family, enjoying the good life — in the slow lane! This week we are presenting Bistro and Chewbecky as our dogs of the week.
Bistro is a great big one year old male who is energetic and affectionate. His ideal home would be with a person or family who is physically active and looking for a companion who also enjoys lots of activity. This handsome red-haired Shepherd cross is a friendly guy who gets along well with people, but would also make a great watch-dog. He normally speaks in modulated, sweet vocalizations, but when he hears or sees an intruder, his voice becomes as big as his 70-pound physique. He would love to have a spacious, securely fenced back yard where he can run and play, perhaps equipped with a doggie pool of his very own and a canine companion to play with. If you’re a Star Wars buff, you’re going to love Chewbecky, a 3 year old, 9 pound canine version of Chewy Chewbacca. Like Bistro, Chewbecky has a reddish coat, that has quite a few other colors mixed in, and is quite a bit shaggier. She’s a shih-tzu/ chihuahua cross, who’s the opposite of Bistro in size, being a diminutive little pooch. Her very favorite thing to do is love her person or family. She’s been described as an “intense cuddler” who will make your life so much more enjoyable when she is by your side. She enjoys going for long walks but is basically content to do whatever her person wants to do, provided it doesn’t require lots of exertion. She’s not lazy, just laid back and mellow. She’s very well mannered and she lives to please her person.
Bistro is neutered and Chewbecky is spayed and both are up-to-date on their shots and very healthy. Depending on the size and temperament you’re looking for in a dog, either one of these sweet dogs would make a wonderful pet. However, if you’re looking for something in-between, we have lots of those too. We also have a few kittens and several very nice adult cats who would love to find their forever homes–perhaps with you?
