Cinderella Pet Rescue’s Alegre and Bojangles: Way beyond cute!
These two youngsters found their way separately to Cinderella on their own.
Even at their young age, both knew they hadn’t gotten a good deal out of life, but, like most dogs, they did not complain and readily accepted the opportunity for a do-over, even though they’re still just babies.
Both of these pups have so much more going for them than just good looks. They’re smart, friendly, and affectionate and very soon they will be ready for their forever homes. We’re happy to say that they are available for “pre-adoption” meaning they can be adopted now, but must stay at Cinderella until their spay and neuter surgeries are done.
Bojangles is a Lab cross, with an unusual beige coat, highlighted by white paws and chest. His eyes have turned a striking light jade color–all the better to gaze adoringly into the eyes of whatever lucky person picks him up. He’s a little bundle of energy, but even if he’s been running around and rough housing with the other pups, once he has the chance to be cuddled, he instantly relaxes and revels in being up close and personal.
Alegre means “happy” or “cheerful” in English and her name suits her to a tee. She’s looking forward to sharing her positive outlook on life with whoever the lucky person is that adopts her. Take a look at those coppery-gold eyes, those giant ears waiting to be showered with kind words, and her scruffy beige and white coat and you’ll be smiling for sure.
Either one of these adorable dogs would make a fine companion for a single person, or the center of attention in a family. Call us today at 391-4399 if you’d like more information about either Alegre or Bojangles.
Also check out our website at www.cinderella-pet-rescue.org to see the other great puppies looking for their happily-ever- after homes.
We also have several small adult dogs available, and just about any sort of dog that might catch your fancy.
If you’re interested in a cat, we have some really pretty and sweet adult cats and young kittens for your consideration, too.
Tip of the week:
When you adopt a new pet but you really don’t like the name they’ve been given, it’s usually best to name them something that’s similar-sounding to their present name BUT it usually takes a few days to know who the pet really is.
It’s been said that the more you love an animal, the more nicknames they have, and, when all is said and done, it probably doesn’t matter too much what you call them, as long as they hear the affection in your voice.
