Lisa Sanchez, a self-proclaimed lifelong community advocate, former business owner, educator, and community leader in the Rio Grande Valley, has officially announced her candidacy for Hidalgo County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2, Place 1.
Sanchez is running on the platform of bringing empathy, integrity, and a full-time commitment to the bench. She states that the communities of Precinct 2, Place 1, deserve a judge who understands the everyday struggles and needs of the community and ensures that justice is never out of reach.
“After prayerful consideration and discussion with my family and friends, I am proud to announce my candidacy,” Sanchez said in a written press release sent out by her campaign last week.
“Precinct 2, Place 1, deserves a full-time Justice of the Peace who understands the needs of our communities. I’m committed to being a fair, accessible, and principled JP who will bring dedication and empathy to the courtroom every single day.
