Democrats last week were quick to criticize the cost of the Iran conflict. To this point, the mobilization and attacks have roughly cost $24 billion. The sum is undoubtedly substantial. That kind of spending, however, never seemed to bother the Dems when they were the ones initiating the payments. This whole war, however, seems to bother the opposition on the grounds that the Iranian Islamists pose no imminent threat to the United States.
