Traffic Advisory in Edinburg due to tanker on road

EDINBURG — The city is asking local drivers to avoid Raul Longoria Road as it is closed due to an accident involving a gasoline tanker Tuesday.

According to a media post by Edinburg, the city's fire department, along with Pharr's FD, are on the site assisting with the incident.

"Raul Longoria Rd is closed to both northbound and southbound traffic between Canton Rd and Wisconsin Rd. Please avoid the area and seek alternate routes," the city said in a media post.
