PHARR— The U.S. Customs and border Protection (CBP) officers here at the Pharr International Bridge conducted a search Friday that resulted in a seizure of $634,000 worth of alleged cocaine.The CBP said in a release that the alleged narcotics was found concealed in a commercial tractor-trailer.Officers at the bridge encountered the tractor trailer from Reynosa, Mexico on Aug. 7. The trailer was referred to secondary for further inspection. Anomalies within the tractor trailer resulted in a physical inspection, which resulted in 18 packages of alleged cocaine that weight about 47.47 pounds.The narcotics and the vehicle were seized.
