EDINBURG — The county recently announced that it is expanding access to essential records services through a special two-week initiative which helps residents who may find it difficult to visit county offices during regular business hours.The Hidalgo County Essential Records Fair, which is an effort by the Hidalgo County Judge’s Office and County Clerk’s Office, as well as the District Clerk’s Office, will provide extended service hours at the Hidalgo County Courthouse on Oct. 15, 20 and 22.On these particular dates, participating offices will remain open until 7 p.m., which is designed to help give residents the chance to obtain ...
