ANTONIA G. GARZA PHARR

— Antonia Garza, 87, entered eternal rest Friday, March 3, 2023, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.

Mrs. Garza was a lifelong resident of Pharr and a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Baldemar Garza; her parents, Angel and Virginia Gamez; four brothers, Encarnacion Gamez, Victor Gamez, Alberto Gamez, Santos Gamez; and one sister, Virginia Cano.

Antonia is survived by her three children, Yolanda (Mike) Morales, Sylvia (Kenneth) Carvajal, Jose B. (Zelma) Garza; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Rosario Tagle. Visitation was held Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Entombment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
