BENITO R. CHAVERO

DONNA — Benito R. Chavero, 77, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022, at his residence in Donna.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Chavero Perez, and Guadalupe Rosales de Chavero; five siblings, Jose Amador Chavero Rosales, Antonio Chavero, Anita Chavero de Sanchez, Balvina Mendoza, and Francisco Chavero.

Mr. Chavero is survived by his four children, Maria Del Socorro Chavero, Ana Maria Fitchett, Jorge Alberto (Shannon) Chavero, Claudia Chavero; four grandchildren, Jessica Fitchett, Robert Anthony Fitchett, Monica Y. Chavero, Mia G. Chavero; two great-grandchildren, Sera Mikaela Fitchett, Sebastian Ruben Franco; three siblings, Felix R. Chavero, Alicia Chavero Rosales, and Maria Del Consuelo Ruiz Chavero.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
