ELSIE COOL

Elsie Cool died, Jan. 21, 2025, surrounded by the Love of her Heavenly Father and joyful anticipation of seeing her Savior, our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Elsie was born July 31, 1927, the youngest of seven children of Ray and Lily Olson Cool, in Bottineau, North Dakota. She is the last of her immediate family but is survived by one nephew, three nieces, and their families.

Her life was characterized by a love of Bible doctrine, a great enjoyment of beautiful things, and a special delight in small children. For more than fifty years she taught art, continuing to learn and grow as an artist.

Elsie spoke often of the kindness and support of her neighbors and her friend from school and from church. She also expressed much gratitude and respect for all of the doctors who attended her. There will be no local funeral services, but there will be a short memorial service at the interment of her ashes in Quorn Cemetery, Iowa, next to her aunt who died of cholera in 1890.
