ELVA P. SALINAS

EDINBURG – Elva P. Salinas, 70, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.

She is preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe Peña.

Mrs. Salinas is survived by her husband, Pablo Salinas; two children, Juan (Ingrid) Renteria, Roberto (Genecee) Renteria; four grandchildren, Rebeka Renteria, Nicole Renteria, Julian Renteria, Carina Renteria; mother, Manuela Pena; a sister, Rebecca Ybarra (Emiliano); three nieces, Rebecca Ybarra Leal, Marisela Escobedo, Araceli Flores; two grand-nieces, Rebecca Castro, Giovanna Leal; a grand-nephew, Dorian Leal; and a great-nephew, Marshall Martinez.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Guadalupe Cemetery in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
