ESMERALDA "Bay CASIANO (Gigi)

Esmeralda "Bay" Casiano (Gigi), 71, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at McAllen Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Cruz Casiano; four brothers, Santiago Casiano Jr., Antonio Casiano, Daniel P. Casiano, Luis Casiano; two sisters, Rebecca Garcia, and Lydia Casiano.

Ms. Casiano is survived by her companion, Joseph Bires; two children, Manuel (Cynthia) Vasquez III, Maribel Castaneda Polk; four grandchildren, Samantha Marie Villarreal, Danielle Nicole Trevino, Isaiah Brandon Polk, Adrian Matthew Vasquez; three great-grandchildren, Adyson Bel Aviles, Kaleb Alexander Villarreal, Ian Kash Lopez; four siblings, Hector Casiano, Miraminda Vargas, Josefina Flores, and Paulina Casiano. Visitation was held from

2 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. talk Friday, December 17, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
