FRANCISCA “Frances” AYALA

Francisca “Frances” Ayala, 74, entered into eternal rest, surrounded by family Friday, September 30, 2022, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lazaro and Guadalupe Ayala; five sisters, Elsa Ayala, Irma Ayala, Josefina Franz, Antonia Ayala and Seledina Ayala.

Ms. Ayala is survived by her son, Alejandro (Yolanda) Martinez; three grandchildren, AJ Martinez, Emily Martinez, Kamila Martinez; one great-grandson, Sebastian Martinez; three sisters, Aracelia Ayala Carlson, Antonia Cantu, Elva Gudino; and a brother, Valentin Ayala.

Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary, Monday, October 3, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hidalgo. Interment followed at Hidalgo City Cemetery.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
