FRANCISCA REYES

Francisca Reyes, 98, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at her residence in Alamo.

Francisca loved her grandchildren, and on her free time enjoyed embroidery, crochet, and her plants.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Reyes; a daughter, Rafaela Romero; her parents, Irineo Briones and Demetria Marquez; and four siblings, Juan Briones, Asunsion Briones, Eusebia Altamira, and Pedro Briones.

Mrs. Reyes is survived by her nine children, Jose (Margarita) Reyes Jr., Artemio (Elida) Reyes, Esperanza Reyes, Roberto (Rosario) Reyes, Maria Del Refugio (Adalberto) Aguirre, San Juana (Juan) Delgado, Rosalva (Wenzel) Cranmore, Raul (Nora) Reyes, Yolanda (Ricardo) Cano; 28 grandchildren; 83 great-grandchildren; 27 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carmen Briones.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. with at 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, April 10, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan and from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2022, followed by a 1 p.m. funeral service at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment followed at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
