Gloria C. Sorensen, 89, died Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at her residence in Alamo.
Mrs. Sorensen is survived by her two daughters, Ida Imelda (Roberto) Vela of Edinburg, Alma “Molly” Garcia of Alamo; and her stepson, Michael Sorensen of Michigan.
The family would like to show their appreciation and thank her caregivers, Martha Gaona, Susie Ramirez, Mari Garza and Opus Care Hospice.
Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Friday, May 5, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at La Capilla Cemetery in La Feria. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
