GLORIA IDALIA PIÑON YSQUIERDO

PHARR — Gloria Idalia Piñon Ysquierdo, 66, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Adan Ysquierdo; parents, Franscisco Piñon and Eloisa Garza Piñon; a sister, Rosalinda Castillo; and a brother, Gregorio Piñon.

Mrs. Ysquierdo is survived by her two daughters, Desiree Villarreal (Joshua) Longoria, Deena Villarreal; six grandchildren, Anissa Solis, Matthew Solis, Ava Villarreal, Hailey Villarreal, Joshua Longoria Jr., Olivia Longoria; five siblings, Maria Rios, Imelda Piñon, Melissa Puga, Frankie Piñon, and Adriana Piñon.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2023, and from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, April 10, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 12 noon Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
