GUADALUPE ARISPE EDINBURG

Guadalupe Arispe, 95, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022, at the residence in Edinburg.

Guadalupe Arispe was a butcher for almost 35 years. He worked at several meat markets and slaughter houses. He retired to be a self-employed rancher in Edinburg. He was a hardworking man, loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, and devoted his time to his family. Guadalupe loved the Ranch life, fishing, music, singing and dancing. He will be greatly missed by his family and his friends.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ernesta Gonzalez Arispe; three sons, Leonel Arispe, Guadalupe Arispe Jr., and Eduardo Arispe.

Mr. Arispe is survived by his five daughters, Orfelinda A. Hernandez, Gloria (Hector) Garcia, Soledad (Rolando) Guzman, Cruz Arispe, Janie (Adrian) Medrano all of Edinburg; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 6 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at San Juan Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Hector Garcia, Mark Hernandez, Gustavo Garcia, Alejandro Medrano, Jacob Molina, Kyle Bizzell and Johny Ochoa.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
