LEONOR ESCOBAR FLORES

EDINBURG — Leonor Escobar Flores, 89, passed away Friday, June 17, 2022, at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation in Edinburg.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hilaria and Carlos Escobar.

Mrs. Flores is survived by her daughter, Rosario "Rosie" Palacios; three grandchildren, Federico "Fred" (Erika) Palacios III, Cathy (Sergio) Rodriguez, Nicole (Orlando) Rodriguez; eight greatgrandchildren, Lily, Ava, & Federico IV Palacios; Sergio, Gabriella, & Matthew Rodriguez; Orlando, and Arian Rodriguez; a sister, Hilda Zarate. The family would like to thank the staff at Edinburg Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for their loving care of Leonor.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary, Monday, June 20, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service took place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment followed at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
