LYDIA R. GARZA

Lydia R. Garza, 89, passed away to be with our Lord Monday, January 16, 2023, at ABRI Nursing Home in Edinburg, TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Vidal Garza; and three brothers.

Mrs. Garza is survived by her 11 children, Rosalinda (Ezequiel) Palacios, Vidal (Luz) Garza, Florencia Rodriguez, Esmeralda (Dora) Garza, Benito (Myra) Garza, Henrietta Garza, Domingo Garza, Juan Jose (Mary) Garza, Noe (Maxine) Garza, Gina (Rafael) Rodriguez, Dina (Armando) Garcia; 34 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Dolores Rios; and three brothers, Sotero Contreras, Alfonso Contreras, and Faustino Camero.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Memorial Cremation Center in Edinburg.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
