MARIA E. LARA PHARR

Maria E. Lara, 93, entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at her residence in Pharr.

Born in Cadereyta, Nuevo Leon, Mrs. Lara lived in Pharr most of her life.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Domingo Lara.

Mrs. Lara is survived by her six children, Narda Lydia (Javier) Escobedo, Ana (Sam Beckman) Hinojosa, Domingo (Yolanda) Lara, Susan (John) Willars, Maribel (Chad) Mehling, Leticia Sanchez, 15 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, March 13, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 12 noon Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
