Maria Ines Berrones, 79, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Guadalupe Berrones; two brothers, Victor Berrones Jr., and Casimiro Berrones; and four sisters, Lupita Lozano, Berta Fuentes, Eloisa Arjona, Julia Salas.
Ms. Berrones is survived by her three siblings, Maria “Cuca” R. (Artemio “Chemo”) Palacios, Mercedes “Chela” Solana and Teresa (Louis) Pontius.
Visitation was held Monday at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation took place at Memorial Cremation Center, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Interment will be at a later date.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
