MARTHA C. TOVAR

Martha C. Tovar, 61, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022, at Solara Hospital in McAllen.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ignacio and Maria Carlin; her brother, Jose Antonio Carlin; and a sister, Maria Isabel Carlin.

Mrs. Tovar is survived by her husband, Elias Tovar; two daughters, Diana Tovar, and Veronica (Sam De La Cruz) Tovar; four grandchildren, Jacob Jayden Tovar, Jesse Castillo, Audree Villalon, Samantha Ariana De la Cruz; three siblings, Guadalupe Carlin, Ricardo Carlin, and Gloria Villarreal.

Visitation was held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service took place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in San Juan. Interment followed at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
