MARY BARD

DONNA — Mary Bard, 80, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2026 at her residence in Donna.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Guadalupe Ibanez; three brothers, John, Alfredo and Richard Ibanez; and three sisters, Elvira Cano, Elida Muniz, and Rosa Palacios.

Mary is survived by her husband, Douglas T. Bard; a son, Douglas Steven (Tiffany) Bard; four grandchildren, David, Vivian, Gwen Maria, and Kati Riza Bard; brother, Joe Ibanez; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Sunday, July 19, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service was held July 20, 2026, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment followed at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
