Nicanora Bernal Gasca, age 90, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at her residence in Pharr.

She is survived by her children, Isabel (Mario Sr.) Lizcano, Jose Angel (Nancy) Gazca, Gilberto Gazca, Luis (Irene) Gazca, Alicia (Ramiro) Lizcano, Felipe Gazca, Maria Elena (Hugo) Garcia, Rebecca (Rene) Lopez, Elizabeth Reyes; sister, Margarita Bernal Snell; 26 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. A chapel service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Pharr. Services are entrusted to Aurora Funeral Home Sam Houston in Pharr.
